Understand the pathway, one decision at a time.
A concise guide for parents and guardians supporting a student-athlete.
Feasibility
We consider sporting level, school results, English, goals, desired timing, and budget together. One strong element does not replace the others.
What to collect before the first conversation
Prepare the athlete’s sporting history, current school information, English level, graduation and desired entry period, study interests, budget range, and any available match footage. A finished highlights video is not required.
How to read a college option
Compare the sporting opportunity with admission, study program, confirmed aid, remaining college cost, housing, insurance, and other practical conditions. Use the college’s official written documents.
Who decides what
Asteron organizes the work included in the chosen service. The athlete keeps information current and decides with the family. Colleges and relevant authorities decide admission, eligibility, aid, visas, credit recognition, and insurance matters.
Alternatives and transfers
If an opportunity does not fit the athlete’s priorities, return to the criteria and compare alternatives. Transfer situations require specific checks of the current academic and sporting position.
